The small festival has become an occasion for new and underground artists to present their work. Only condition is that they want to perform in the historical site of the Vondelbunker, an actual bunker inside the Vondelpark bridge that today hosts an independent space.
A night open to any kind of artist/performer/musician willing to present an interesting project, not in the form of an open mic, but with a fixed schedule, including three acts at each event.
The 4 acts for the next event are going to be:
Tomer Baruch is an Israeli interdisciplinary musician, currently based in the Netherlands, in Den Haag, where he studied at the Institute of Sonology. Subterranean Currents is his latest record, where he shifts towards ambient music. The name of the record, Subterranean Currents, is strictly connected to the groundwater, not only in its absolute meaning, but also in Tomer’s memories.
-Luke Diane as Lisa
Luke Deane is a Composer based in Amsterdam, NL // Birmingham, UK. Luke claims that his work is associated with the 4th Viennese School of composition, although research questions the reality of such a school.
Luke regularly performs his own solo and ensemble work, sometimes under the guise of Pop Idol “Lisa”: Lisa is a colourful pop icon. Lisa achieved cult status in Birmingham. Lisa’s most recent performance was a guest appearance at Le Guess Who Festival in Utrecht, Netherlands.
The Irrational Library is a new project crossing the streams of spoken word poetry and get down boogie for your brain rock n roll music. The Irrational Library is the party protest band for modern times. A spiritual uplift to put a sway in your hips and take you along a real fine mental trip.
Black Tarantula is the only Netherkraut band in the world.
Netherkraut is an amalgam of surf, psychedelic garagerock and krautrock; timeless Sixties music kept timeless via the psychedelic time vacuum. Their first album ‘Deze kant boven’ was released in 2014.
